mimistitch started at a kitchen table in Medan with a needle, some yarn, and no plan beyond finishing one piece. Every order is still made one at a time — no printing, no machines — which means each piece carries a small trace of the hand that made it.
The craft changes with the piece — embroidery, crochet, knitting — but the patterns keep coming back to the flowers and woven textiles of North Sumatra.
